FREE Duty of Care & Safeguarding Training
We provide access to a package of 21 essential online training courses through EDUCARE. Training courses include GDPR, Child Protection, and Health and Safety.
Learning & Development Grants
Apply for an ASLTIP grant to support your CPD. We award grants of up to £500 three times a year.
We also negotiate exclusive discounts with retailers, currently including 20% off Routledge and DELL, accessible from our members’ benefits section.
We take the time to listen to our members, striving to understand what contributes to therapists’ successes and challenges. We use this information to represent their views and are recognized by agencies such as RCSLT and HCPC as the voice of our sector, working for change at a national level.
We have 2 categories of membership.
Full Membership: Speech and Language Therapists who are registered with RCSLT and HCPC and have two recent and consecutive years of post-graduate experience.
Affiliate Membership: Speech and Language Therapists registered with RCSLT and HCPC but don’t have the relevant experience. You might be working towards the RCSLT framework for NQP or practitioners returning to practice. Affiliate members must work under the supervision of a full ASLTIP member.
The initial joining fee is £150.00, with the annual renewal reduced to £110.00
ASLTIP’s membership has been growing rapidly since 1989. We are a support organisation run by our members. The executive board is always grateful for new members and new ideas.
