Suggestions for summer CPD

 All professionals, including Speech and Language Therapists, need to take the time to develop their skills and knowledge in a time of rapid technological advancement, fast-changing client needs and continuously adapting working environment. Here are some suggestions for publications and and courses which may help you to work on your Continuing Professional Development this summer:

 

  • As a RCSLT member you can have full access to over 700 journal titles including peer-reviewed papers on the latest speech and language therapy related research
  • ASHA Wire provides the most up to date research, discussions, and ideas from ASHA publications and the communication sciences and disorders community worldwide
  • ASHA Professional Development offers top-notch CEU courses taught by industry leaders for speech therapy and audiology professionals. With more than 280 CEU courses in 14 categories of learning, you’re sure to find the right course. Their courses, online conferences, and interactive webinars provide quality, up-to-date information on the subjects that matter most to SLTs.
  • On the ASLTIP website you can find also a range of courses for developing your independent and professional practice:
