I’ve been on the board since March 2020, initially as Director for Member Engagement and now as Vice-Chair.
In 2011, I established my independent practice Supporting Talking. Initially, I followed what may be to you a familiar hybrid working life, dipping my toe into independent practice whilst still working for the NHS.
I now work solely independently and primarily with early years children. To my ASLTIP roles I bring cross-sector experience, having previously worked for the London based charity, The Communication Trust, as a Professional Advisor and also in a variety of clinical and leadership roles in the NHS across the South West.
As a Director of the Board, my goal is to help strengthen peer support and business development opportunities for members so they can thrive in independent practice.
Mum to a very spirited 3 year old little boy, my favourite pastime is getting out and about exploring the beautiful countryside of Gloucestershire, an area we’re lucky enough to call home.
ASLTIP’s membership has been growing rapidly since 1989. We are a support organisation run by our members. The executive board is always grateful for new members and new ideas.
