I am a highly specialist stammering therapist with extensive experience across both NHS and online private practice. I support children, young people and adults who stammer, as well as parents, partners and schools, to build confident, authentic communication — whether speech is fluent or not. My approach is evidence-based, compassionate and practical, combining fluency shaping, stammering modification and wider communication work tailored to each person’s goals.
At The Stammer Space, I focus on helping clients reduce struggle, increase confidence and feel more in control of their speech in everyday situations. Therapy is collaborative and empowering, with an emphasis on understanding stammering, reducing avoidance and building resilience.
I also work alongside Lucy, an accredited CBT therapist, so we can integrate cognitive behavioural approaches where helpful. This allows us to support not just speech patterns, but also anxiety, unhelpful thinking styles and the wider emotional impact of stammering.
