I am an SLT specialising in adult communication and swallowing difficulties, with particular expertise in Parkinson’s disease, Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), autism, and learning disability.
I have completed specialist training in Parkinson’s and am LSVT LOUD® certified, enabling me to offer evidence based therapy to support people to communicate with confidence, clarity, and impact.
I also have experience working with young adults with autism and learning disabilities. Prior to re-training as an SLT, I worked as a secondary school teacher, a pre-school teacher and a Forest School Teacher. I enjoy working with a variety of clients and age groups and love that being an SLT allows this.
I pride myself on working holistically with clients and their families. Wherever possible I aim to tailor therapy towards goals that will help my client in social/school/work environments. I love working outside and try and build time in nature into therapy sessions wherever feasible.
