I have worked as a speech and language therapist since 1987 in a variety of clinical settings including NHS clinics, special schools and independently in the community. I obtained a postgraduate diploma in specific learning difficulties in 2007, combining my work with speech and language therapy clients and dyslexia tuition. I have extensive experience working with ASD pupils with dyslexic difficulties throughout the key stages leading to obtain grade 4 GCSE passes in English and Maths for further education access, many of whom are home educated.
I have also spent a considerable amount of time developing communication systems and language competency in young people with complex CP who are AAC users working to develop their communication in order to access the curriculum and achieve to their full potential.
I am looking to expand my caseload and seek new opportunities within the Sevenoaks and surrounding area.
