Hello, I’m Sophie, founder of Sophie Hayward | The Speech Studio.

I’m a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist supporting children and young people aged 1–25, together with their families, across Essex and Suffolk.

I have over 11 years’ experience supporting children with a wide range of speech, language and communication needs. I’ve worked across clinics, nurseries, mainstream and specialist schools, language units, family homes and charities, both in the UK and internationally.

My approach is child-centred, creative and fun, with every child’s individual strengths, needs and goals at the heart of therapy. I aim to create a warm and supportive environment where children feel understood, valued and confident to develop their communication skills.

I offer assessments, tailored therapy and training in schools, pre-schools and family homes.
