I am a Clinical Specialist SaLT and Team Lead within NHS and independent practice, with over 25 years’ experience supporting babies, children and young people, and the SLTs who work with them.
I offer 1:1 and small group clinical supervision for SLTs working with children and young people. Supervision provides a structured, reflective space to think through clinical work, particularly where cases feel complex, high-stakes or isolating, and to strengthen clinical reasoning and confidence in decision-making.
My background includes specialist practice in paediatric dysphagia and eating, drinking and swallowing difficulties, alongside teaching on the Midlands Quest Paediatric/ALD Dysphagia course since 2015. I can support SLTs working within or developing their dysphagia practice or working towards RCSLT Eating, Drinking and Swallowing competencies, where relevant.
Supervision is practical, compassionate and grounded in best practice, with a focus on safe, ethical practice and professional wellbeing.
