I have worked as a Speech and Language Therapist for over 20 years, specialising in adult neurology – working with people who have experienced changes to their communication or eating, drinking and swallowing. I have worked in hospital settings, rehabilitation and in the community, in people’s homes, as well as online. I work both with the client and their families to provide assessment, support, treatment and advice. Communication and eating and drinking are so important and my role is all about enhancing quality of life.
As well as my clinical work, I am a lecturer at a university in London teaching student speech and language therapists and supporting their clinical development. I also provide clinical specialist advice and supervision to SLTs and have advanced training in this area.
I am always happy to have an informal conversation if you feel you would like to discuss whether we could work together.
ASLTIP’s membership has been growing rapidly since 1989. We are a support organisation run by our members. The executive board is always grateful for new members and new ideas.
