Welcome to A Grain of SaLT! My name is Sarah and I’m a highly specialist Speech and Language Therapist who has worked across the UK and Ireland over the past 16 years. My aim is to make therapy fun, functional and flexible, tailor-made to the needs of your child.

I have extensive training in supporting children with complex communication needs, particularly children who have limited spoken communication. I am really passionate about using a range of different approaches and tools to support ‘total communication’. I enjoy working alongside families and schools to ensure a holistic approach.

I have undergone further training in some of the following areas: alternative forms of communication (AAC), Assistive Technology, Gestalt Language Processing, Makaton signing, Elklan tutoring and Zones of Regulation.
