Rebecca is a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist working in Neurology. She has 16 years of clinical experience. Rebecca continues to work in the NHS at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. Her main role is within the neurology team seeing complex neurology, neurodegenerative and neuromuscular patients across the pathway from critical care to outpatients and in the community. She specialises in the management of complex dysphagia and communication disorders in the neurology population. This includes MND, Parkinson’s and Parkinson’s plus conditions, Ataxia, stroke, MS, FND, mitochondrial conditions, nerve conditions such as GBS and facial palsy.
Rebecca has post graduate training in facial neuromuscular rehabilitation and is a specialist in this field. She completed her Master’s of Clinical Research in 2025 in facial palsy. Rebecca is on the education committee for Facial Therapy Specialists International, is a clinical advisor to RCSLT and provides training and mentoring in facial therapy.
