After graduating in 2005, I worked in NHS Scotland for 5 years in stroke rehabilitation and with the general elderly population (including Parkinson’s Disease). I then moved to Cambridgeshire where I worked on the Community Stroke Team and the Community Head Injury Service. When I returned to Glasgow, I spent the next 8.5 years working for ‘Brainkind’ in specialist rehabilitation after TBI. In 2024 I moved home to Northern Ireland where I worked in dementia services for 15 months before taking up my current post in the Community Brain Injury Team.

While I have 20 years of experience in assessing and managing adults with swallowing issues, my passion lies in supporting people with communication difficulties through the various stages of their recovery. My training and experience includes, but is not limited to, LSVT, CBT, Compassion-focused therapy and motivational interviewing.

Please reach out if you would like to chat, no strings attached…
