– Clinical Lead for Voice Disorders at Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust
– Lead Speech and Language Therapist for Long Covid, 2022-23
– Qualified in Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) for people with Parkinson’s
– Primary Investigator in a National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) funded research trial into Speech and Language Therapy and LSVT for people with Parkinson’s for Torbay.
I am committed to delivering high quality Speech and Language Therapy where evidence for its effectiveness is supported by research. I have worked in the NHS as a practising Speech and Language Therapist since 2003 and specialise in treating children and adults with voice changes, called “dysphonia”. My approach is patient-centred and holistic. The exercises and techniques I use draw on sound, evidence-based principles and are tailored to reflect each client’s needs.
