Hello! I’m Nicole, a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist and founder of SLC Therapy, an independent service based in Halifax, West Yorkshire.

I support primary and secondary-aged children and young people with a range of speech, language and communication needs.

Since qualifying in 2010, I’ve worked across a range of settings, including schools, clinics and community services. I enjoy working alongside families and education staff to understand each child’s communication strengths and needs, and identify practical strategies that build on their strengths and make a real difference in everyday life.

My approach is friendly, collaborative and evidence-based, with a focus on understanding each child as an individual and supporting them to communicate with confidence.
