I am Dr Victoria Singer, a highly specialist paediatric speech and language therapist. I have 20+-years’ experience working with babies, toddlers, and pre-school and school-age children with speech, language, and feeding difficulties in Northern Ireland, England, New Zealand (NZ), and Australia.
I qualified with a BSc (First Class Hons) in Speech and Language Therapy from City University, London in 2001, and have worked in nurseries, schools, community clinics, and multidisciplinary child development service settings as well as clients’ own homes.
I have also combined my clinical work with research into children’s speech/language difficulties and obtained an MSc with Distinction in Speech and Language Sciences from the University of Canterbury, NZ in 2014 and a PhD from Ulster University (UU) in 2021. I currently combine my clinical work with teaching on the undergraduate SLT programme at UU. I believe strongly in evidence-based practice and building confidence and competence in others.
