Rachel Sievers
These may be difficulties using and understanding spoken and written language or unclear speech. I work closely with families, other professionals and employers to ensure therapy aims are relevant and achievable. I can provide assessment, direct therapy, reports, advice and programmes tailored specifically to each person’s individual needs and priorities.
I have a special interest in working with adults with DLD. I help adults understand their language difficulties more fully and learn strategies to compensate for them. I also help adults with DLD get the support they need at work, college/university and from other services like Access to Work. I provide small support groups for adults with DLD where they can meet other people with similar challenges.
I can currently provide therapy face-to-face or online, depending on circumstances.
