Fiona Sugden-Best

Fiona qualified in 1988. Her private practice Therapeutically Speaking UK specialises in seeing  adolescent and adult clients presenting with voice disorders and/or chronic cough. She has extensive experience of working with clients who have had an acquired brain injury, such as, stroke, brain tumour or head injury and clients who are managing their lives with acquired neurological problems, such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s (Lee Silverman Voice Technique) or Huntington’s disease. Fiona also supports clients with dementia, including primary progressive aphasia.

She usually conducts client sessions in her consulting room and has direct access to a recording studio, to support professional voice users and development of presentation skills. Fiona is also able to offer assessment and therapy sessions remotely.
