I have extensive experience of working with children and young people, honing assessment and therapy skills over many years. I specialise in working with children who stammer and their parents; and with teenagers and young adults who stammer. I have a real empathy for parents concerned about their children’s speech. I enjoy developing confident and effective communicators. Being well respected and of utmost integrity, I have good links with other professionals (NHS/Private) in the area. I keep my skills updated and have received post-graduate training from Michael Palin Centre for Stammering, The Stuttering Foundation (USA) and other highly regarded centres of excellence. I am experienced in various therapy approaches for primary and secondary aged children who stammer. I am a member of the National Stammering Clinical Excellence Network.
