I have extensive experience of working with children and young people, honing assessment and therapy skills over many years. I specialise in stammering and speech sound difficulties I have a real empathy for parents concerned about their child’s communication. I enjoy developing confident and effective communicators. Being well respected and of utmost integrity, I have good links with other professionals (NHS/Private) in the area; based in Basingstoke. Specialist skills include:

~ stammering/stuttering. Ages 2-19yrs. Post-grad. training from Michael Palin Centre for Stammering and The Stuttering Foundation (USA). I am experienced in delivering Lidcombe Therapy and Parent-child Interaction Therapy for under 6’s; vastly experienced in therapy approaches for primary and secondary aged. I am a member of South East & London Stammering Clinical Excellence Network.

~ speech sound difficulties – articulation and phonological disorders. Dyspraxia. Extensive  experience in cleft palate and nasal speech.
