I qualified as Speech and Language Therapist in 1984 and since then have worked in various NHS posts throughout England + 2 years in an independent (oral) school for the deaf. I have specialized in working with children with cleft lip &/or palate and hearing impairment. Throughout my NHS positions I have continued with a general caseload including children presenting with – language delay/disorder, speech delay /disorder, and articulation difficulties.In independent practice I assess and treat children/ young people with any of these communication difficulties.
