Communication Changes was founded in 2009 by Mary Ganpatsingh who aims to meet the communication needs of survivors of stroke and acquired brain injury. Mary specialises in cognitive communication difficulties, providing therapy that enables people to return to family, social, work and leisure roles.
Mary practices a client-centred approach so sessions happen with the people and in places that are relevant to the clients personal aims. This might include having better conversations with family and friends, developing communication skills for work, volunteering or returning to study. Perhaps it will be at times of transition, such as the client starts dating or becomes a parent. Mary works with case managers, rehabilitation teams and self funding clients. She enjoys working closely with family and other team members and has a reputation for building a strong rapport with clients.
