I am a Speech and Language Therapist with 16 years’ experience working with children and young people aged 0–18.

My main specialism is in autism and in supporting gestalt language processors, but I also have experience in other areas of speech and language.

I worked in the NHS for 13 years, in community clinics and mainstream schools, including a period as Clinical Lead for Early Years and eight years in a CAMHS Autism Assessment Team carrying out diagnostic assessments. I now work solely in independent practice.

My practice is neurodiversity-affirming and child-centred. I especially enjoy helping children to find strategies to regulate their emotions and supporting schools to adapt their environments to better suit children with additional needs.

I have completed the Meaningful Speech certification in gestalt language processing, and hold training in Attention Autism, Makaton and Hanen More Than Words.
