I am passionate about communication!

Having over 18 years experience of working with paediatric speech and language issues, I have worked within the NHS gaining experience across a range of settings including special schools with children with severe and complex and/or profound & multiple learning disabilities, a secondary school with students with communication disorders from 11-19 years old, and within community and mainstream settings. I work with children in pre-school and mainstream primary (2 to 11 years) settings supporting students with a range of speech, language and communication difficulties including those with; Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), Dyspraxia, speech sound delays/disorders, speech and language delays/disorders. I am now fully private working 3 days per week during term times, having left the NHS in 2020. I have special interests in both dysfluency and ASC. I am a strong advocate of holistic and total communication approaches to support needs.
