I offer a high-quality, supportive and friendly therapy service. I’ve been working with children and their families for almost 30 years, as a primary school teacher, then as a speech and language therapist. In recent years I have specialised in working with children who are gestalt language processors, using the Natural Language Acquisition framework.

My aim is to help children reach their full potential by working with the adults who know them best. When children are having difficulties with talking, understanding or other aspects of their communication development it can impact on how they feel about themselves, on family life, friendships and progress in school. I want to help parents, carers and teachers understand children’s needs, equipping them with strategies that make a positive difference.

I visit homes and schools in my locality, run sessions at Durham Therapy Centre, and provide training/therapy online.
