I have worked as a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist since 2010, including over 10 years on the NHS. This has included the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of Speech, Language and Communication Needs across a complex caseload and into learning support centres in schools. I have undertaken many professional courses including Hanen: It takes more than words, Derbyshire Language Scheme, PECS, Makaton, Intensive Interaction, Palin Parent Child Interaction, ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule). I am passionate about the collaboration between parents, education and healthcare professionals, keeping my therapy patient centred. I am currenty the NI Twinkl ambassador and also write a monthly column for NI4KIDS magazine. My private clinic runs from Kingsbridge Private Hospital in Belfast.
