*I am not taking any new clients currently

I have 19 years experience working in Special Needs Schools and aim to bring motivation, understanding and fun into communication for the child, teacher, parents and therapist.

I am passionate about working with individuals who have physical disabilities, learning difficulties and complex needs requiring assessment and therapy for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). I have provided communication support in Preschools, Schools, Supported Living, Colleges and homes. I have extensive experience in working with children and young people who use AAC e.g. Makaton signing; symbols; PODD, Voice Output Communication Aids (VOCAs) and cause and effect switches. I can provide training packages in all areas of AAC/Communication, Dysphagia and AAC audits. I work with individuals, their families/carers and other professionals to design and set up communication systems.
