Based on the Isle of Wight, I have extensive experience supporting children and teenagers aged 1-18 years and their families in NHS, school-based and independent practice.
My specialisms are in language disorders (Developmental Language Disorder and language disorders associated with other conditions e.g. autism), and the PDA profile of autism. I provide assessment and diagnosis of DLD, as well as PDA profiling.
I also work with children with other speech, language and communication needs, including social communication differences and speech sound difficulties. Additionally, I support children with literacy difficulties, including dyslexia; many children with language difficulties are also dyslexic, and I strongly believe that they are best supported with an integrated approach.
I am a mum to two boys, one of whom is PDA autistic, so have experience of navigating SEND from a parent perspective.
