I qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2005 and have spent 15 years working for NHS commissioned organisations as a paediatric therapist. I have a wealth of experience in delivering services to primary school aged children with Speech, Language and Communication Needs; specifically speech sound disorders and language difficulties.
My ethos is to place the child at the heart of therapy by working with parents, families and, when appropriate, schools to identify a child’s difficulties, set targets and deliver therapy to secure successful outcomes for their communication development.
My services can be flexible and adapted to suit family and school life. Recently, I have developed a successful teletherapy service allowing me to work efficiently and effectively with children at home and/or in schools.
I have experience in delivering training to school staff and I am able to create bespoke training sessions to meet identified needs.
