Helping children communicate is hugely rewarding for me, and I am passionate about enabling children to achieve their potential. I have 27 years experience in the NHS of working with children with a wide range of speech, language and communication needs in clinics and schools. In 2022 I made the move to independent practice to ensure children are the heart of everything I do. My approach is friendly, straightforward, and realistic, aiming to build mutual trust with the children and families.

As parents/carers and pre-school/school staff hold the key to unlocking children’s communication potential, I strive to empower key adults in their life to support them by developing their knowledge and confidence in how to support speech and language development by sharing my knowledge and experience with them.

As children communicate best in their most familiar surroundings, sessions may take place in the home, nursery or school setting.
