Emma Andrews (nee Barker ) The Children’s Practice provide assessment, reviews, programmes and regular speech and language therapy for children of pre-school and school age. The Children’s Practice provide intervention for children with a range of needs including attention deficits, speech difficulties, stammering, weaknesses in understanding and use of language, literacy, study skills and social communication impairments. Where appropriate we support a total communication approach integrating AAC systems including MAKATON signing, Picture Exchange Communication and communication books. We are dedicated to a child centred approach, based on current theory, providing intervention to meet the needs of the individual child and their family.
ASLTIP’s membership has been growing rapidly since 1989. We are a support organisation run by our members. The executive board is always grateful for new members and new ideas.
