I am an experienced clinician working in a range of settings with children and young people of all ages and all stages of communication. I strive to support the communication needs of my clients, using person-centred, neuro-affirming and trauma informed approaches.My work focusses on the priorities, concerns and goals of the young person and their family. I aim to create functional, shared goals with professionals around my clients. I can provide assessment, training of others, direct therapy for clients and support in social activities. In addition to a broad range of therapy techniques, I have a very strong background in using more specialist strategies too such as Intensive Interaction, Positive Eye, Attention Autism. I have extensive knowledge around AAC (both hi and lo tech) and am also a licensed ELKLAN tutor. I am trained in DDP to level 1, Zones of Regulation and Talking Mats.
