I worked as an NHS Speech and Language Therapist for over 30 years.  My specialist clinical field is Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) with children and young adults with special education needs and disabilities. I have extensive experience of working with people with  autism and severe and complex learning and physical needs.  This includes signing, PECS, symbol communication boards, charts, books and high tech communication aids.

I am trained in Makaton, PECS and the Bobath approach for the management of Cerebral Palsy. I can provide support for electronic voice output communication aids e.g. iPad with Proloquo2go

 I offer therapy in a fun and motivating way to enable the person to develop new skills and I can advise settings about communication friendly environments. I work in client homes, nursery, school, colleges and adult settings. Online therapy maybe an option if appropriate for the person.
