My name is Carolyn Howard, I am a paediatric Speech and Language Therapist and I am passionate about supporting communication development in children to equip them for life.

I set up Chatterbox East after almost 10 years working as part of the Suffolk NHS Speech and Language Therapy Team. I have experience in treating a range of communication difficulties and disorders in preschool, primary and secondary age children both in clinic and mainstream education settings.

I am qualified and experienced in the use of a range of treatment approaches (Palin Parent Child Interaction Therapy, Lidcombe Early Stammering Intervention Programme, Makaton Signing, Picture Exchange Communication System PECS). My particular areas of interest include speech delay and disorder and language delay and disorder.
