I work with children and adults with a range of speech, language and communication needs. I have experience of working with children with, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Specific Language Impairment, Cerebral palsy, dysfluency and learning difficulties. I work closely with professionals and families in order to meet clients’ needs holistically, and set motivating, accessible targets. I offer creative therapy approaches, which I believe are vital to retain engagement, and motivation. I have lectured in Developmental Language Disorders at Essex University and enthusiastically follow developments in research in order to keep therapy current and evidence based. https://carriehughes-slt.co.uk/
