I am an independent Speech and Language Therapist with extensive experience supporting children and young people with speech, language and communication needs.
I previously worked in NHS and specialist school settings, including over eight years in a special school supporting pupils with complex needs. I now work independently with children in schools and private settings, providing assessment, therapy and consultation.
I work with children aged approximately 4–16 years and support needs including speech sound disorders, developmental language disorder (DLD), social communication needs and literacy-related difficulties, including dyslexia.
My work focuses on the link between speech, language and literacy, supporting children whose communication difficulties impact learning, reading and spelling. I work collaboratively with parents, schools and SENCOs and can provide detailed assessment reports and recommendations to support progress in education.
Support can be provided in schools, homes or online.
Please contact me via email (anna@languagetoliteracy.co.uk) to discuss how I may be able to support your child.
