Hi, I’m Sophia. I’m one of the specialist Speech and Language Therapists working for Speech Matters Speech Therapy.

SMST is run by me and my colleague, Victoria Allanson. We have over 20 years combined experience in both communication and dysphagia (swallowing difficulties).

We work with adults and young people (11+) providing in-person consultations across the North West and remote consultations nationally.

My experience includes working with an adult caseload in community, rehab and acute settings. I have extensive knowledge and skills in a range of areas, including neurological conditions (Stroke; Parkinsons), brain injury, dementia, stammer and voice.

We are committed to working flexibly with you to provide affordable and accessible, highly specialist Speech and Language Therapy to help you achieve your communication and/or swallowing goals.
