I have worked as a speech and language therapist for 23 years. I still work for the NHS in Sheffield in a specialist role for children with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD). My passion is helping children under 5 who are struggling to start talking or who are not saying as much as would be expected. I am able to advise parents or settings on activities that they can do to help speech and language development as well as giving information on typical development. I can bring a range of games, toys and activities to sessions as well as handouts for parents/settings and I am happy to provide personalised advice and communication plans if required.
