Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist with over 10 years experience of working with children and young people. I have experience of working with children and young people ages 2-19 with a range of communication needs; some of which include mild/moderate learning difficulties, social communication needs, speech disorders and developmental language delay. I am Makaton and Elklan trained. I am passionate about building a rapport with children and families. I believe that it is vital to work collaboratively and to help families understand their child’s needs, to ensure input is meaningful. I also have knowledge and experience of working with children and young people with behavioural needs. I have worked closely with families and provided support and coaching to ensure parents are able to support their child in their home.
