Melissa Jones
Hi, I’m Melissa, a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist supporting families, young people and schools across Yorkshire. I currently focus my time across specialist provisions, mainstream schools and in families’ homes.
Communication is complex and personal. I therefore work in partnership with young people, their families, schools, early years settings and other professionals, to provide a child-led, creative, evidence-based approach to meet their communication needs.
I have significant experience in supporting neurodivergent individuals, including Autistic children. I also support children with learning difficulties, and those who require additional and alternative methods of communication and use AAC.
