I am a Specialist Neuro Speech and Language Therapist, and founder of Neuro Speech LAB – www.neurospeechlab.co.uk
I offer personalised assessment and treatment for communication, cognition and swallowing (dysphagia) difficulties to adults/ children with acquired neurological conditions. My approach is always evidence-based. I am passionate about making therapy meaningful and motivating, so will take the time to assess individual needs to ensure intervention is purposeful and will have a positive impact on quality of life.
I’m experienced with expressive/ receptive language difficulties (aphasia), motor speech disorders (dysarthria and apraxia), cognitive communication disorders, AAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication) and complex dysphagia presentations.
I work across a range of settings including client’s homes, rehab units, and schools. I provide communication and/or dysphagia training. I facilitate Mental Capacity Assessments. I also act as a treating therapist in medico-legal claims, with experience in completing detailed assessment, treatment and reports.
I have additional qualifications in Dysphagia, and Paediatric Dysphagia.
