Hello, I’m Laura.

Since I qualified in 2015 I have worked in a variety of NHS and independent settings, with children and young people from infancy to early adulthood. I love working with children with a variety of support needs, including speech sound difficulties, early language development, complex communication needs and learning disabilities. My particular area of specialist interest is working with people who have Down Syndrome. I believe any interventions should be evidence-based and tailored to the individual and I endeavour to work closely with families and professionals as part of the young person’s team, in order to achieve this. I strive to ensure my sessions are engaging and child-led and incorporate neurodiversity affirming practices.
