I’ve been an independent practitioner since 2009. Further to my post graduate qualification, I have a Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling.

I am passionate about supporting children, young people and adults with learning disabilities to develop their speech, language and communication skills; to be ‘seen and heard’, to self advocate, to engage in education and community access, to develop their independence and life skills, and/or be in employment.

I have much experience working with young people and adults (16yrs to 25yrs) within the further education setting. I also work as an Advisory Speech and Language Therapist for an assistive technology company. I have a special interest in Autism and use of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) including VOCA (Voice Output Communication Aids). I continue to be a vocal advocate for children, young people and adults with learning disabilities to have access to high tech AAC where appropriate.
