I am a Speech and Language Therapist, specialising in delivering person-centred, evidence-based Speech and Language Therapy to adults with acquired brain injuries (ABI).
I have over 12 years’ experience of working with adults with brain injuries (including stroke) in a range of settings include acute, in-patient rehabilitation, and the community.
Key skills and knowledge:
– Efficient and accurate facilitation of relevant assessments. Ability to provide detailed analysis of results.
– Knowledge of a broad range of SLT interventions that reflect the evidence-base for the ABI client group.
– Excellent written skills, including thorough and accessible report writing.
– Ability to quickly build rapport with clients and their significant others.
I have an MSc in Speech Sciences from UCL (2012).
