Helen Cooke is a highly specialist Speech and Language Therapist with over 18 years’ experience in the NHS. She is the founder of NeuroNurtured, an independent practice providing neuro-affirming coaching, training, and resources for autistic children, their families, schools, and professionals.

Helen holds a Master’s degree in Autism (Distinction) and was the clinical lead for Autism in the NHS for over 10 years. She is trained in ADOS-2 and has particular expertise in supporting cognitively able children and young people, especially those experiencing high levels of anxiety. She is also an accredited AuDHD coach.

Through NeuroNurtured, Helen takes a strengths-based, collaborative approach, supporting children and young people to develop confidence, self-advocacy, and a positive understanding of their neurodivergence. She is also an experienced trainer, delivering accessible and practical training to parents, educators, and speech and language therapists, grounded in current evidence and a strong belief in the value of neurodiversity.
