Hello, I’m Hayley. I believe everyone deserves a better quality of life through meaningful communication and safe, supported eating and drinking, and I offer expert, approachable guidance to help achieve this.
I specialise in supporting adults with acquired speech, communication, and swallowing difficulties. I have extensive NHS experience working with neurological conditions including stroke, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, MND, Huntington’s disease, and brain injury. I work collaboratively with clients to identify priorities and set meaningful, motivating therapy goals.
Following assessment, treatment may include evidence-based rehabilitation exercises and targeted strategies, including alternative communication methods. I am LSVT trained.
I also support adults with voice difficulties and autism. Additionally, I have experience working with children, including developmental language delay and speech sound disorders, gained through work in a primary school.
I have worked across diverse settings including homes, care homes, clinics, rehabilitation wards, acute hospitals, and schools.
