I have over 35 years’ experience working with adults with acquired communication difficulties. After many years working in specialist in-patient neuro-rehabilitation as part of an interdisciplinary team, I now work for a charity supporting people with neurological conditions who are living in the community. My areas of expertise and interest include: aphasia and dyspraxia following stroke or brain injury; Parkinsons Disease and related diagnoses; acquired brain injury; cognitive communication difficulties . Working in the community has given me insight into the challenges of living with a communication disability. It is my aim as a therapist to work with people and their families to make meaningful positive change.
