Speech and Language Therapist in Stoke-on-Trent
I have worked with a wide range of speech, language and communication needs, including developmental language disorder, speech sound disorders, stammering, neurodiversity and complex medical conditions, across clinical, home and educational settings.
Over the past 10 years, I have specialised in universal and targeted speech and language therapy roles. I have also established collaborative working arrangements between NHS and local authority colleagues.
Partnership working is my passion whether that be with parents or professionals in other roles such as in health or education. My role is to facilitate, problem solve and collaborate rather than teach. I work with emerging skills of the communication partner and see it as a mutual exchange.
