Liz is a dedicated and highly skilled therapist specialising in working with young people and adults with communication and swallowing difficulties. My experience spans a range of clinical settings, including hospitals, community services, and rehabilitation centres, supporting individuals with conditions such as stroke, progressive neurological disorders, dementia, and head and neck cancer. I am passionate about promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life through evidence-based assessment and intervention. My approach is holistic and person-centred, involving close collaboration with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create tailored therapy plans that reflect individual goals and values. I have a strong interest in dysphagia and am skilled in assessment, compensatory strategies, and rehabilitation techniques. I am committed to developing effective communication whether through therapy, education, or the use of alternative and augmentative communication. I strive to ensure every individual I work with is heard, understood, and able to engage meaningfully in life.
