Eleanor Alexander
I am a Speech and Language Therapist working in London since 2020, and I practice independently alongside working for NHS services as a highly specialist SLT.Â
I have worked with children aged 4-19 in mainstream primary and secondary schools, including additionally resourced provisions (ARP), children’s centres, child & adolescent mental health services, Pupil Referral Units and alternative provisions.Â
I specialise in a wide range of needs, including Developmental Language Disorder, speech sound difficulties, selective mutism, and social communication challenges. I use evidence-based assessment and personalised intervention, with a focus to identify a child or young person’s strengths, identify barriers, and work on targets that make meaningful, practical change.
I provide advice, training, assessment and/or therapy in the child’s home or education setting, face-to-face or online. Whether someone needs short-term guidance or ongoing support, I aim to empower people to reach their full communication potential.
