I have worked as a pediatric Speech and Language Therapist since 2003, in the public and independent sector. I also have academic experience, and hold a PhD in Developmental Language Disorder (DLD). I have worked with children and teenagers with a range of communication difficulties, including developmental and complex speech, language and social communication difficulties. I have attended training on Makaton, PECS, and I am a qualified Elklan tutor. As part of my independent practice, I offer tailored assessment and intervention in the education or home setting, as well as teletherapy. I am particularly interested in the diagnosis of speech and language difficulties in bilingual/multilingual children, and in play-based therapy in the early years. I have a passion for helping children achieve their potential, and I work closely with the family and all relevant parties to ensure this.
